Vision Statement
JesusRock Festival in Kramfors, Sweden
Jesus
Jesus must be the center of everything JesusRock is, does and stands for. We want to see Jesus known, followed and loved by all young people. This must be priority number one. We, the members of The JesusRock Association, want our lives to give honour to Jesus.
Rock
The word “rock” shall be interpreted music that is up to date with the young people and not only rock music. Our aim is to combine mainstream and more alternative styles not to exclude anyone. The quality of the music is very important – even as advertisement.
JesusRock
That Jesus is the rock, the foundation, must somehow be recognized in every band and in every act. It is in the mixture of the music and the gospel that the festival has its identity.
Festival
JesusRock is a music festival, a feast of music. Therefore it should be characterized by joy and freedom and be a place to relax, breathe and let the guard down. The drug-free grounds, the nearness to the artists and the presence of counsellors and intercessors are key ingrediants to create this warm atmosphere. Come the way you are and go home the way you have become – could be a possible scenario!
JesusRock Festival
The presence of the christian young people is essential on JesusRock. Every Christian has been given a mission to convey the joyful message about God’s liberating love to those in the vicinity. Music, talks, activities and everything else at the festival should encourage conversations on such topics or the like. All of us has the same need to get to know our Father’s loving heart.
Kramfors
Geographically the festival is situated in Kramfors. Yet the whole project is built on cooperation, hard work and the coming together of Christians from the four cardinal points.

Those words constitute the original vision given back in the summer of 2001. This document and the festivals we have arranged so far show how we have interpreted these words. Everything that is JesusRock rests in God’s hands.
